This enchanted land has bewildered anyone who has set its eyes upon it. Its given us countless stories that have enriched the heart and a drink. A magical drink that is known as the water of life, "Whiskey".


On this trip we will discover Scotland's hidden secret, the Whiskey Isle of Islay. Home to some of the world's most acclaimed distilleries, we'll delve into the secrets of each distillery in the island. Uncovering the truth of Whiskey its secret to success and why it truly is the water of life. Along the way we will visit enchanted castles and towns, and uncover the elegant capital of the Scots, Edinburgh.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, transfer to Stirling. Visit to Stirling Castle

Arrival to Edinburgh Airport. Transfer over to Stirling, check in at hotel, later we enjoy a stroll across the cobbled streets of Stirling. We visit the renowned Stirling Castle, which sits on a craggy volcanic rock and played a defining part in the formation of Scotland and its union with England

Afterwards during the evening we enjoy a get together dinner with drinks

Day 2: The Discovery of the Highlands, delightful seafood and ancient sights.

In the morning we set out on our Scottish discovery. We visit Loch Lomond, Britain's largest expanse of freshwater. Afterwards we stop in the Trossachs national park where we admire the scenic beauty of the wild highlands.

Onwards we stop in Oban. Scotland's seafood capital were we enjoy a nice lunch along with a wee dram. Later we head to Kennacraig, were we take a ferry to the Queen of the Hebrides. The isle of Islay. Arriving into Islay we stay in Bowmore were we get to relax and enjoy the tranquil evening.

Day 3: Discovering Scotland's Water of life. Tasting the wee drams of Islay.

After waking up and followed by a delightful breakfast it's time to head discover the charms and secrets of Islay. We visit Bowmore Distillery. The oldest licensed distillery on the island. Afterwards we head to a nice village to enjoy some lunch. With our bellies full it's time to savour some more of Scotland ́s water of life. We visit Bruichladdich Distillery. Home of a wide range of single malts. Continuing our tastes and tries of the wee dram while we ́re still standing we head to Kilchoman Distillery. Renowned for its bold tastes and eco friendly ethos. With our whiskey tasting done we enjoy the afternoon surroundings of Bowmore and its tranquility. That is if you're still standing.

Day 4: Embracing the ancient scenes, trying a Prince's favourite wee dram.

After our good nights sleep and some delicious breakfast its time to set out on our second day of whiskey tasting. This time we head to the south of Islay. Home to some of Scotlands most famous whiskies. We visit Ardbeg, were we enjoy a tour of the renowned distillery. Famous throughout the world by whiskey connoisseurs. Followed by a chance to have lunch in the relaxed surroundings.

Afterwards we visit Laphroaig Distillery. Known as one of the favourites of the British Monarchy. Later we visit Lagavulin Distillery, followed by visits to the ancient spots of Islay. The island was acclaimed for centuries as a sanctuary for christianity. Finishing our final evening to relax in Bowmore with possibly some more wee drams of whiskey.

Day 5: Return to the Highlands and visit to the majestic Scottish capital Edinburgh.

With the water of life filling our hearts and souls it's time to return back to the mainland. On our way we enjoy the fresh scenes of the Scottish Highlands. Stop at Inveraray Castle, walk and enjoy the elegant splendours of the residence of the Duke of Argyll. Afterwards we head to Edinburgh, Scotland's majestic capital.

Free evening to enjoy the delights of Edinburgh.

Day 6: Visit to Edinburgh Castle, the Old Town and free time for shopping.

After breakfast we visit Edinburgh Castle. The bastion of scottish power and british dominance over this land for centuries. We visit the insides of the castle and discover how this dominating fortress became an icon of Britain and Scotland.

Afterwards we walk through the historic streets of Edinburgh. Discovering the peculiarities and hidden charms of the city. Later, free afternoon to enjoy some shopping with the opportunity to visit the local shops selling scottish delights like cashmere clothing, tartan kilts, sweets and a variety of whiskey bottles. In the evening we head to the outskirts of Einburgh to enjoy a night of Traditional Scottish music and dance. A great way to enjoy our last evening

Day 7: Departure

After our wonderful journey it's time to say goodbye, but as the scottish proverb says "you arrive to Scotland a traveller, however you leave as a friend".
